The Latin American Glaucoma Society brings together ophthalmologists who are glaucoma specialists and recognized opinion leaders within the region, committed to the highest standards of academic, scientific, and clinical excellence.

 

Its mission is to foster research, continuing medical education, and regional leadership, with the objective of improving the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of blindness caused by glaucoma.

 

The Society envisions a Latin America in which glaucoma is no longer associated with irreversible vision loss, but rather with timely intervention that preserves vision and quality of life.
