Day 1
Baltra and South Plaza Islands
Baltra Airport, on Baltra Island
Arrival and transfer aboard the La Pinta Yacht.
Welcome briefing, safety drill, and cabin assignment.
Enjoy a delicious lunch served on board.
Afternoon sailing to South Plaza Island for the first excursion.
Note: Wear comfortable clothing and shoes; bring a small backpack with medications, sunscreen, insect repellent, and essentials.
South Plaza Island
Walk along trails lined with vibrant succulents.
Spot colorful Galápagos land iguanas, playful sea lions, and seabirds in flight.
Explore South Plaza’s unique volcanic landscape.
Day 2
Santa Fe and San Cristóbal Islands
Santa Fe Island
Arrival by dinghy to a white-sand beach with sea lions.
Part of the “Humboldt quartet,” a region rich in biodiversity.
Unique species: Galápagos hawk and Santa Fe land iguana.
Morning activities: kayaking, snorkeling, and coastal exploration.
San Cristóbal Island – Cerro Colorado Tortoise Habitat
Disembark at Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, where Darwin arrived in 1835.
Visit the Cerro Colorado Giant Tortoise Breeding Center.
Spot San Cristóbal mockingbirds and lava lizards.
Free time to explore the town and its surroundings.
Day 3
San Cristóbal Island – Punta Pitt
Disembark at Punta Pitt, on the eastern side of San Cristóbal.
Hike with stunning coastal views and frigatebirds soaring overhead.
Spot bachelor sea lions and all three species of boobies.
After the walk, enjoy an optional panga ride or snorkeling.
Cerro Brujo
Visit Cerro Brujo, on the north coast of San Cristóbal.
Admire the eroding tuff cone, lava formations, and a white-sand beach.
Enjoy crystal-clear waters at one of the best beaches in the Galápagos.
Arrive early to take in the natural beauty before other visitors arrive.
Day 4
Española Island
Punta Suárez
Morning exploration at Punta Suárez, walking over lava and rocky terrain.
Spot Galápagos albatrosses (April–January), boobies, gulls, and the blowhole.
Admire the colorful marine iguanas, unique to this area.
Return on board to enjoy a well-earned lunch.
Gardner Bay
Afternoon visit to Gardner Bay’s white coral beach.
Watch sea lions, mockingbirds, and finches along the shore.
Enjoy snorkeling, kayaking, or a glass-bottom boat ride to explore the marine life.
Day 5
Santa Cruz and Baltra Islands
Charles Darwin Research Station (Santa Cruz Island) / Baltra Airport
Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station and the giant tortoise conservation program.
Transfer by bus across Santa Cruz Island and cross by ferry to Baltra.
Conclude the journey at Baltra Airport for the return flight to the mainland.
Baltra’s flat landscape reflects its unique uplifted geological history.
