Galapagos Cruises 4-Day Tour
MY Coral
The itineraries include full board, two daily guided excursions, and optional activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, and boat trips. You can also extend your trip with diving programs and additional nights in the Galápagos Islands upon request.
Day 1
Baltra and Santa Cruz Islands
Baltra Island
Baltra Island (Santa Cruz Island) Upon arrival in the Galápagos, passengers are met at the airport by our expert guides who will accompany them on a short, ten-minute bus ride to the dock, where they will board the Coral.
Punta Carrión (Santa Cruz Island) An inflatable boat ride at the entrance to the Itabaca Channel, in a turquoise lagoon, where we can observe sharks, blue-footed boobies, and various types of fish.
Day 2
Genovesa Island
Marvel at the variety of marine life that uses the crevices of the lava cliffs as shelter. Red-billed boobies fly overhead, and a small colony of sea lions can be found near the landing site.
A steep staircase begins on the rocks at the foot of a trail that winds through a seabird colony teeming with Nazca and red-footed boobies. From within the flooded caldera of Tower Island (Genovesa), we reach a sandy beach and are greeted by swallow-tailed gulls, often considered the most beautiful gulls in the world.
Along the trail, we can observe red-footed boobies and great frigatebirds in their magnificent and striking nesting process.
Day 3
Rábida and Bartolomé Islands
Rábida Island
Located in the heart of the archipelago, this spectacular island with its distinctive red sand beach is home to sea lions, thrushes, finches, endemic Galápagos doves, and crimson flycatchers.
A hike takes us through a forest of palo santo trees and cacti to a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the bay.
Bartolomé Island
Considered the most iconic landscape in the entire archipelago, the view from the top of Bartolomé Island offers panoramic vistas of the famous Pinnacle Rock and the stark Santiago Island.
Our subsequent snorkeling here could bring us face-to-face with Galápagos penguins, whitetip reef sharks, and playful sea lions.
Day 4
Highlands of Santa Cruz Island and Baltra Island / Highlands of Santa Cruz Island
In the central highlands of Santa Cruz Island, we have our best opportunity to interact closely with wild, giant Galapagos tortoises.
A short walk among these enormous 600-pound reptiles will also offer us the chance to observe other highland species, especially several species of the famous finches.
Baltra Island
After the visit, passengers will be transferred to the airport for their return flight to the mainland.
